Campbellsville University

Campbellsville University (CU) is a private, Christian university located in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Founded in 1906, it is affiliated with the Kentucky Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention. CU offers over 100 undergraduate and graduate programs, including a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. The university has an enrollment of over 3,000 students from more than 40 states and 15 countries.

The main campus of Campbellsville University consists of more than 50 buildings on over 100 acres of land and includes the School of Education, School of Business and Economics, School of Music, School of Nursing, School of Humanities & Fine Arts, School of Social Work and Counseling Services, and the School of Science & Health Professions. The campus also boasts two residence halls, a student center that houses a cafeteria and student activities center, library resources center with computer labs and study areas as well as several retail stores.

Campbellsville University also offers online learning opportunities for students who are unable to attend classes on campus due to work or family commitments. Online courses are available through CU's College Online Network (CON). CON allows students to take courses from anywhere with an internet connection at their own pace.

Campbellsville University’s athletics program consists of 19 intercollegiate sports teams for men and women competing in NCAA Division II conferences such as Mid-South Conference (MSC), South Atlantic Conference (SAC) and Gulf South Conference (GSC). The CU Tigers compete in football, basketball, baseball/softball, cross country/track & field/soccer/volleyball/tennis/swimming & diving/golf/lacrosse/bowling/cheerleading & dance teams.

Campbellsville University offers a variety of student activities on campus such as intramural sports leagues for flag football or basketball; clubs like the Art Club or Campus Ministry; student organizations such as Amnesty International; Greek life; honor societies like Phi Beta Kappa; service organizations like Habitat for Humanity; leadership programs like LEAD-CU; study abroad opportunities; internships with local businesses; research opportunities with faculty members; career services assistance through the Career Center; counseling services through Counseling Services Center; health services through Health Services Center; recreation facilities such as basketball courts or fitness centers; entertainment events such as concerts or plays put on by the theatre department or musical performances by the music department.
