Colorado Christian University (CCU) is a private, interdenominational, Christian liberal arts university located in Lakewood, Colorado. Founded in 1914 as the Denver Bible Institute, CCU is the only Christian college or university in the Rocky Mountain region. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate programs through its seven schools: School of Business & Leadership; School of Humanities & Social Sciences; School of Natural & Applied Sciences; School of Adult and Graduate Studies; College of Adult and Graduate Studies; College of Undergraduate Studies; and College of Education.

The university offers a variety of degree options including Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees. The most popular majors are Business Administration, Psychology, Accounting, Criminal Justice/Safety Studies, Elementary Education/Teaching and Nursing/Registered Nurse. CCU also offers online programs for students who may not be able to attend classes on campus.

At CCU students can participate in various student organizations such as academic honor societies, student government organizations, fraternities and sororities as well as intramural sports teams. There are also several ministry opportunities available to students including mission trips around the world.

CCU has a strong commitment to service-learning initiatives and encourages faculty members to incorporate community service into their courses. The university also participates in national service learning programs such as AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers In Service To America).

The school's athletics program includes men's baseball, basketball, cross country, golf and soccer teams as well as women's basketball, cross country golf soccer softball volleyball teams. The athletic department also sponsors several club sports such as rugby and bowling.
