Mid-America Christian University

Mid-America Christian University (MACU) is a private, non-profit liberal arts institution located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Founded in 1953, the university is affiliated with the Churches of Christ and offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in a variety of disciplines. The university's mission is to "educate students for Christian service and leadership throughout the world."

The university's main campus is located on a 55-acre site near downtown Oklahoma City. The campus includes several buildings, including a library, student center, chapel, and residence halls. The campus also features several athletic facilities such as an indoor pool, gymnasiums, and tennis courts.

MACU offers over 50 undergraduate degree programs in areas such as business administration, psychology, education, nursing, theology and ministry studies. Graduate programs include master's degrees in business administration (MBA), counseling psychology (MA), education (MEd), nursing (MSN), theology and ministry studies (MTS).

In addition to its academic offerings, MACU provides a variety of student services including career counseling services, academic advising services, library resources, tutoring services and study abroad opportunities. The university also offers community service opportunities through its Community Service Learning Program which allows students to participate in service projects throughout the year.

The university has an active student life with more than 50 clubs and organizations that provide students with opportunities to get involved on campus. These include fraternities and sororities as well as religious organizations such as Cru or Campus Crusade for Christ. MACU also has an active intramural sports program which includes basketball leagues as well as flag football teams.

MACU is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (HLC). It is also affiliated with the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) which provides students with access to resources related to their faith journey while at MACU.
