Providence Christian College

Providence Christian College (PCC) is a private, interdenominational Christian college located in Pasadena, California. Founded in 1993, it is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS). PCC offers bachelor's degrees in Bible/Theology, Intercultural Studies, Business Administration, Education, and Music.

PCC's mission is to provide a Christ-centered education that equips students to live faithfully as disciples of Jesus Christ. The college emphasizes the integration of faith with learning and encourages students to think critically about their beliefs and values. Through its commitment to biblical truth, academic excellence, and spiritual formation, PCC seeks to develop graduates who are prepared for service in the church and society.

The college offers a variety of extracurricular activities for students including intramural sports teams, student clubs and organizations such as the Student Government Association (SGA), mission trips abroad, student-led worship services on campus, retreats for spiritual growth, service projects in the local community, student publications such as The Crusader newspaper and The Lion literary magazine.

PCC also provides support services such as career counseling and job placement assistance. In addition to academic programs on campus, PCC also offers online courses that can be taken from anywhere with an internet connection. These courses include Bible/Theology classes as well as general education requirements such as English composition or mathematics.

In addition to academics, PCC strives to create an atmosphere of community on campus through various events such as concerts by local musicians or art exhibits by local artists. Students can also participate in various activities at the nearby Rose Bowl Stadium or visit one of the many museums located within walking distance from campus.

At Providence Christian College students are encouraged to explore their faith more deeply through prayerful reflection on Scripture and worship services held throughout each week.
