Trinity International University

Trinity International University (TIU) is a private Christian university located in Deerfield, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. Founded in 1897 as Trinity Bible Institute, it is affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America and offers undergraduate and graduate degrees. The university has two campuses: the main campus in Deerfield and a second campus in Miami, Florida.

TIU offers more than 50 undergraduate majors and minors, including business, education, communication studies, psychology, and theology. The university also offers graduate programs in counseling psychology, educational leadership and administration, global leadership and missional ministry, nursing practice, organizational leadership and development, and public policy. In addition to traditional on-campus classes, TIU also offers online programs for both undergraduate and graduate students.

TIU's mission is to prepare students to live lives of service to God through scholarship, spiritual formation and leadership development. The university strives to provide an environment that encourages students to pursue their academic goals while growing spiritually through Christian teachings. This includes weekly chapel services as well as seminars on topics such as faith integration into everyday life.

The student body at TIU is diverse with students coming from all over the world. The student body consists of approximately 1,400 students from over 25 countries around the world. The student-faculty ratio at TIU is 13:1 which allows for small class sizes that foster close relationships between faculty members and their students.

The university also has a vibrant campus life with over 50 clubs and organizations ranging from intramural sports teams to student government organizations. There are also many opportunities for community service through various volunteer programs offered by the university such as Habitat for Humanity or serving local soup kitchens or homeless shelters.
