Nyack College

Nyack College is a private Christian college in Nyack, New York. Founded in 1882 by Dr. A. B. Simpson, it is the oldest Christian college in New York State and one of the oldest accredited colleges in the United States. It is affiliated with the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA). The college offers more than 50 undergraduate majors, as well as master's degree programs, professional certifications and continuing education courses.

Nyack College is located on a beautiful campus overlooking the Hudson River in Rockland County, New York. The campus includes two main academic buildings, a library, a student center, and several residence halls. The college also has satellite campuses located in Manhattan and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Nyack College offers an array of undergraduate degree programs including business administration, education, music performance and production, nursing and health sciences, psychology and sociology. In addition to traditional degree programs, Nyack also offers online courses for students who are unable to attend classes on campus or for those who prefer to study from home.

The college also provides a variety of extracurricular activities for students including intramural sports teams such as basketball and volleyball; student organizations such as the Intercultural Student Association; musical ensembles such as the Nyack College Choir; academic clubs such as the Honors Program; service-learning opportunities; retreats; mission trips; conferences; workshops; research opportunities; internships; study abroad programs and more.

Nyack College has a strong commitment to social justice issues both locally and globally through its Center for Social Justice & Reconciliation (CSJR). The CSJR works to promote dialogue between people of different backgrounds by providing resources that help bridge cultural divides through education and advocacy.

The college also has an active alumni network that provides support to current students through mentoring programs, career advice, networking opportunities and more. Alumni can stay connected with their alma mater through events such as Homecoming Weekend or Reunion Weekend where they can reconnect with former classmates or take part in special events like lectures or performances on campus.
